You mean you haven't heard??? Yonder is the Word!
We were only able to catch the second of this two night run at higher ground but it was a good one. As always, the boys ripped it up and left Higher Ground in a blue haze of smokin' bluegrass goodness. They always sound great in this room and the crown is always enthusiastic here. Traffic Jam was a sweet opener to an energetic second set. The boys were spot on and as tight as I've seen them. The second set outshined the first in my eyes but I have to disagree with Jeff as the first was definitley not dog shit... All in all a great show and I thought David played and sang exceptionally well this evening... Rumor has it we may get a 3 night run next year... Keep your fingers crossed!
As the band left the stage it beacme apperent that the crowd was really charged up and not quite ready to call it quits. 2/3 of the floor stayed and rocked out as P-funk came over the PA... It was quite obvious we wanted the funk!!What a great vibe... Just about the perfect day!
This is a good show with an average audience recording... Thanks for putting it up!
P.S. Got to say hello to Gordon in the lobby while I was picking up my posters... See ya in Hampton!
Notes
Thanks to Danny for all the help.
